FQ AI, hereinafter referred to as “FQAI” “we”, “application”, “app”, or “the app”, takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, processed, used, and protected when you use FQ AI. Please read this policy carefully before using the app.
 

Information We Collect

User-Uploaded Images

FQAI app uses Fal.ai, a third-party AI service, to process user-uploaded images and generate the results requested by the user. Uploaded images are processed temporarily only as necessary to generate and deliver the requested result. Images may contain human faces. However, the app does not collect, extract, analyse, or store facial or biometric data. FQ AI does not perform facial recognition or attempt to identify individuals.
 

User Instructions

Users may provide text instructions or prompts when requesting an AI-generated result. These instructions are processed only to perform the requested feature. Users should not include confidential, sensitive, or personally identifiable information in their instructions.
 

Image Processing

User-provided images and related instructions are securely transmitted to Fal.ai solely to perform the operation explicitly requested by the user.

Images and instructions are processed temporarily and are not used by FQ AI for advertising, profiling, identity verification, facial recognition, or unrelated purposes.
 

Face Data Handling

FQ AI may process user-uploaded images that contain human faces. This section explains how such images are handled.
 

Face Data Collection

FQ AI does not specifically collect, detect, extract, or identify face data as a separate category of information. Images voluntarily uploaded by users may contain faces as part of their content.
 

Use of Face Data

Images that may contain human faces are processed solely to provide the AI feature requested by the user. Processing is performed through Fal.ai, a third-party AI service. We do not perform Facial recognition, Face tracking, Biometric analysis, Identity verification, Facial profiling, or Identification of individuals.
 

Sharing of Face Data

Uploaded images are securely transmitted to Fal.ai only when necessary to generate the requested result Images are not shared with other third parties for advertising, profiling, facial recognition, identity verification, or unrelated purposes.
 

Storage and Retention

FQ AI does not store uploaded images on its own servers. Images, including images that may contain faces, are processed temporarily and are not retained by FQ AI after processing is complete.

FQ AI does not retain facial templates, biometric identifiers, facial geometry, or facial recognition profiles.

Generated results and history items may be stored locally on the user’s device so they can be accessed later. Users may choose to delete as and when needed.
 

User Consent

Images are uploaded and processed only after the user actively selects an image and requests an AI-powered feature.

Before the first use of an AI feature, users may be presented with a Data & Privacy Disclosure. Processing begins only after the user selects Agree & Continue.

Users who select Decline will not be able to use features that require third-party AI processing.
 

Third-Party Processing

FQ AI uses Fal.ai to process user input such as image and or text prompts for AI content generation.

Fal.ai receives only the information necessary to generate the result requested by the user.

FQ AI app does not send images to Fal.ai for facial recognition, biometric identification, advertising, profiling, surveillance, or identity verification.

No biometric identifiers or facial recognition profiles are created by FQ AI.
 

Data Retention

FQ AI does not retain user-uploaded images on its own servers after processing is complete.

Temporary processing may occur for the time necessary to generate and deliver the requested result.

The following information may be stored locally on the user’s device:

• Generated results
• History items
• App preferences
• Saved settings

Users may remove locally stored information through the app, where available, or by uninstalling FQ AI.
 

Analytics and Diagnostic Information

FQ AI may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited technical and diagnostic information, including:

• Device type
• Operating system version
• App version
• Feature usage
• Performance information
• Crash reports
• Diagnostic logs

This information is used to improve the app’s functionality, stability, security, and performance.

Analytics and diagnostic information is not used by FQ AI to identify individuals, recognise faces, or create biometric profiles.
 

Purchases and Subscriptions

FQ AI may offer optional subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Payments are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. FQ AI does not directly collect or store payment card information.

Apple may provide limited transaction information, such as purchase confirmation and subscription status, so that premium features can be activated.
 

Third-Party Access

FQ AI may use third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies, including:

• Fal.ai – AI service provider
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Apple In-App Purchase

These services may process limited information necessary to provide their respective functions.

Information may also be disclosed:

• When required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or a similar legal process
• When disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights or the safety of users or others
• To investigate fraud, misuse, security incidents, or violations
• To trusted service providers acting on our behalf and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations

FQ AI does not sell or rent user information.
 

Device Permissions

FQ AI may request access to the following device features.
 

Photo Library

Photo Library access is used only when the user chooses to select an image or save a generated result.
 

Camera

Camera access is used only when the user chooses to capture a new image.

Users may manage these permissions through their device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
 

Opt-Out Rights

Users can stop the app from processing information by discontinuing use of the app and uninstalling it through the standard uninstall process available on their device.

Users may also decline AI processing through the Data & Privacy Disclosure. Declining will prevent access to features that require processing through Fal.ai.

Users can manage analytics permissions through their device settings where such controls are available.
 

Children’s Privacy

FQ AI is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Security of Data

We use reasonable physical, electronic, administrative, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed through FQ AI.

Images are transmitted using reasonable security measures and are processed only as necessary to provide the requested feature.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid uploading confidential, sensitive, or legally protected images.

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in app functionality, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy regularly.

Continued use of FQ AI after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Privacy Policy.
